A self-taught musician (piano, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals), Malcolm Duff began learning the piano at the age of four. After playing in bands in the UK in the 1970s and moving to France, he continued to write and record songs after meeting Maristela da Silva, now his co-composer.
The lyrics of some of their songs are included in his first novel "The Escorts", and compiled in an album entitled "The Escorts" both released in spring 2023.
